Sweet, aromatic, and gently musky — Longan has a caramel-like depth that sets it apart from its cousin the lychee. The small round fruits hang in heavy clusters, their tan-brown leathery skin peeling back to reveal translucent white flesh around a single dark seed. Less acidic than lychee, with a warmer, rounder flavour.
